There are tasks in the field of image editing that are simply no fun and cost an incredible amount of time in post-production. A good example is reflections on spectacle lenses, which are sometimes accidentally in the image because a small movement of the head is enough to make them visible, or because the studio is sometimes simply too small to make a better set-up.
These image errors are a real deal-breaker, especially for jobs where there is no budget for elaborate image editing.
The generative AI in Photoshop is a real lifesaver here. I had a small shoot for a local software company some time ago. Nothing special - just images for presentations, profile pictures for social media etc. Some of the images were too good not to use in my opinion, but the retouching of the reflections stopped me from giving them to the client to choose from.
You can see the process in the video above. It's very easy and the results are at least as good, if not better, than retouching by hand. I was able to retouch 25 images in 15 minutes, which would otherwise have taken a day.
